Pirates of the Chatthoochee
It’s fun in the Halloween season with the annual Southern Pirate Festival at Port Columbus.
This year brings some changes to our annual Pirate event. The event will now go by the original name, The Southern Pirate Festival, brought to you by the Port Columbus, The Pirates of the Chattahoochee (the Port Columbus pirate crew) and our partner Pirate groups.

We're getting a lot of help this year from our new Pirate partners, the Cursed Few and the Cutthroat Titans. These two crews will be helping us to plan and carry out a bigger and better event, with more appeal to both families and pirates.

We're also pleased to announce that Port Columbus and The Southern Pirate Festival will be the location of the annual Dead Buccaneers' Ball, which will take place after the festival close Saturday Night, inside the museum. Held last year in Valdosta, GA, the Ball is moving to Port Columbus this year, and will offer our pirates here for the weekend a night of great fun (Separate registration required).

The Southern Pirate Festival will take place the weekend of October 23, with public and kid-friendly events on Saturday, and Piratical fun for pirates from all over throughout the weekend.

Are you a Pirate or part of a Pirate crew that wants to help out? We'd love you have you!

Watch for more details and schedules as we get closer, and registration info is coming soon. Also watch for a new Southern Pirate Festival website, which will be linked from here and located at www.SouthernPirateFestival.com
