​Mystery at the Museum is a unique fundraiser taking place at the National Civil War Naval Museum. This interactive and intriguing murder mystery dinner theatre will leave audiences guessing—and in stitches—'til the crime is solved. Each dinner show features an all-star cast of characters, a cash bar, and a delicious dinner that’s truly to die for. Attendees can get in on the act by playing a part, becoming a top detective, or simply sitting back and enjoying the show. At Mystery at the Museum, just beware! In this immersive experience, the culprit is hiding in plain sight, and you may find yourself as a prime suspect before you know it! The purpose of this fundraiser is to further support the organization’s mission, deepen the museum’s impact, and help ensure financial sustainability for this valuable cultural institution.  By telling the stories of the navies of the Civil War, we connect people with the past; giving them a better sense of place and time. The museum cares for a unique collection of nationally relevant maritime artifacts as well as a strong archival research collection. It offers an array of educational programs for students of all ages, in addition to a variety of entertaining public events and programs for the community.

A celebrity chef cook-off is taking place at the museum this fall. As exciting as it sounds, one of the world famous cooks winds up getting FRIED! Where are my tickets? 

After visiting our website to purchase tickets, you will receive an email confirmation. Your name will be on a reservation list. The box office and venue will be open for guests approximately an hour before show time. There is no need to bring the email printout.

Plans changed, can I get a refund? 

Tickets are not refundable.

Is there a dress code? 

The dress code for this event is business casual or fun!  We are asking participants to have fun! After all, it is the Halloween season! Come in costume. Come dressed as your favorite detective! Come dressed as your favorite ghost or character! Have fun!

Is this show appropriate for children? 

This show is rated PG-13 and intended for older audiences (teenage and up).
